Laminated veneer lumber (LVL) is a man-made wood material made by assembling multiple layers of thin wood with adhesives. It is widely used for scaffold plank, headers, and beams, etc. In construction industry, LVL is much superior to traditional milled lumber because it is stronger, straighter and more uniform. The composite nature ensures that LVL is unlikely to get shrunk, twisted, wrapped, bowed, or broken.
1. The waterproof glue coated on the pine has greatly improved the LVL scaffold plank’s water resistance.
2. With WBP phenolic glue, the panel won’t get influenced even treated with boiling water for 72 hours.
3. The strength of LVL panel is three times of solid wood with the same size, and is more suitable for load-bearing application. Besides, the wood is given surface treatment for aesthetic appearance.
